The purpose of the Center for Peace and Security (CPAS)
CPAS is established to become a leading institute on Taiwan defense issues in the world. The center’s studies is also to support TSE on its curriculum design and to cultivate security elites for Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific region
The missions of the Center for Peace and Security
CPAS dedicates on the studies of peace and security on Taiwan, Its research will provide as a reference for government’s defense policy making, as well as be shared to think tanks and professionals concerned. The center’s studies will also contribute to the peace and security of Taiwan as well as the Indo-Pacific area.
The works of the Center for Peace and Security
- CPAS is to publish an annual report of Taiwan Defense Review. The report is to conduct an honest and objective assessment on Taiwan’s defense, and its result will be taken as a reference on government defense policy making.
- CPAS is also to hold an annual conference, called “Peace and Security Elites Dialog.” This event will invite renowned active and retired defense officials or flag and general officers from foreign countries to give a talk on Taiwan’s urgent defense and security issues.
